The house looks about the same as it did two weeks ago. I’m too lazy to go to homedepo and get the braces for the book shelves and blinds for the windows. In the next few weeks we are thinking about starting the tiling project that we have had planned since before we moved in.
We visited with and ate dinner with my bro mike and his family over the weekend, it was nice seeing him again. They came down here for a fast vacation to celebrate some of the mom-in-laws cancer victories.
The garden is about 2/3rds planted. I still have the corn, pees, blue berries, and 3/9 pepper plants left. I’m just too lazy to finish. To protect the plants against the gophers, I am following some advice I received at the nursery were I purchased the veggies. I am planting the veggies in chicken wire cages to protect the roots from the gophers. The roots may still grow outside of the chicken wire, but if attacked the plant will mostly be protected.
Also, I discovered that the sprinkler system is totally messed up, several of the heads are broken off, chewed up, or clogged and some of the systems don’t even run. :/ more wows of home ownership.
Pauline is busy at her job. She will probably have to work several hours of overtime each week for the next few months. My job is going great, the word is starting to spread that I have skills with XL. The kids are loving the time with Pauline’s ante who is taking them to an arts and craft thing a few times a week. Yesterday when i went to pick them up, braden took off running. by time i relized that he was gone he was half way up the street, so i had to kick it into high gear to catch him. The whole time he was running he was saying i want to stay at anns.... i guess he likes it.

Thanks for the update. Good luck with all the projects. Part of having projects, is that they are never ending.
