We experienced our first earthquake since coming to CA. it most likely will not be the last and will probably become so conmen place that I will not post the majority of them. I felt the first one around 6 or 7 Am Saturday morning while sleeping. After it woke me up, I woke Pauline up to tell here we were having an earthquake but she was so out of it she could not tell. When I got up later that day I had a hard time deciding if it was a dream or not. I never remember my dreams so therefore I am almost positive that it was not.
Sunday afternoon, shortly after conference, I was sitting on the couch reading a book when another one hit. It did not seem very large, but after checking the internet we discovered that it was a 7.2 magnitude earth quake that happened about 175 miles southeast of Tijuana Mexico. The tremors were felt as far north as LA. About an hour after that we felt another one that must have been an aftershock.
Here is one of the web sites I have found that shows recent activity: http://quake.usgs.gov/recenteqs/latest.htm
