If you follow this link, there is a song that I have been listening to for a few months now...
Its written by a group who had multiple gigs at the bar were this Vietnam veteran drank. After befriending him and learning of his story they put it into a song and published it. If you click on the watch video link on this page it will play the song and a slide show video.

Nice song. The pictures are a little hard to see, I remember some from that turbulent time in our history. The year 1965, I has a sophomore and Aunt Shirley was graduating. Vietnam was in the news every day with some heart renching pictures. Uncle Larry was probably getting ready for his mission.
