Ants!

Last 4 days have been much of the same. After work, go home and unpack while trying to keep the kids from making too much of a mess. Last night we finally plugged in the TV and took a break from unpacking and watched a walk to remember. Pauline always cry's for movies like that.

Most of the boxes, that are not storage, are unpacked. We have just a few that are books needing to go on book shelves, Pictures and other Pretty things that will be displayed. Now comes the difficult part of deciding where those book shelves, pictures and things will go so that we can unpack those last few boxes.

Set up pest control yesterday. The kitchen is overrun with sugar ants! I have a feeling that the nest is coming up through the whole in the foundation where the pipes come in at. The reason for this is the island in the center of the kitchen with the sink and dishwasher has the largest concentration of ants. But of course I’m not going to rip apart the cabinetry to determine if my hypothesis is correct; Ill just have Terminix dust as best they can there.

The next thing to do is to try and find garage door opener remotes because none came with the house. The wo’s of home ownership….
